Weekly Classes, Daily Meditations
Many meditation classes basically invite you to sit down, watch your breath, tell you to return your attention to the breath when you get distracted. And then they let you sit with that for twenty years to try to work it out.
We don’t do that.
Our approach is different because we go into the detail. You’ll know precisely what you’re trying to do and how to do it.
We are going to help you see how your mind works, explain why it works that way, why sometimes it works for you but often it works against you, and then how and why meditation can help you develop a new relationship with your own mind.
The core of the course is made up of eight weekly classes and supporting daily meditations.
The weekly classes were recorded as video live on Zoom and run roughly 90 minutes each.
The classes emphasise meditation practice interspersed with instruction and commentary.
Some of the daily meditations were live on Zoom, and some recorded. These tend to run from ten to fifteen minutes with some of the later weeks running a little longer.
The goal is to help you find the best meditation practice for you. Something you like, you find easy enough, and that you can come back to, on your own, whenever you want or need it.
